How Can We Help?
Release Notes
Version 2606
Internal Version Number: 8.1.0
Key updates in this release:
- Scenario Export Optimization
The scenario export process has been optimized. Advanced assets are now automatically included and exported together with the scenario content. This simplifies asset preparation and improves content loading efficiency.
- Enhanced Scenario Visual Presentation
Textbox, tag, button, and IoT panel components now support custom background images. Users can choose system default styles or upload custom images, improving visual quality and creative flexibility.
- Improved Animation Control
A new option, “Hold on Last Frame,” has been added for model animations. This allows the model’s initial state in the next scene to match the final state of the previous scene’s animation, ensuring smooth continuity across scenes and supporting more complex scene sequencing.
- Scenario Import Optimization
The local scenario import workflow has been improved, enabling unified storage of scenarios and associated assets.
- Filter Function Enhancement
The filtering experience has been optimized to improve content search and retrieval efficiency.
- Improved Position and Rotation Editing for Elements
Position and rotation values for both grouped and individual elements now update in real time based on the current scene. A new Target Rotation method has been introduced, while the original rotation mode has been renamed to Relative Rotation. Switching between rotation methods preserves the model’s final orientation, enabling more precise scene editing.
- New Preferences Panel
A new Preferences panel has been introduced, consolidating existing general settings (language, appearance, rendering quality) and adding new customization options:
Selection Mode: A new “Select Only” mode prevents accidental element movement during initial selection.
Rotation Mode: Switches between Fixed Axis Rotation and View-Based Rotation to accommodate different editing workflows.
The unified settings entry improves usability and overall user experience.

Key updates in this release:
- Improved question binding logic
- Each chapter/interaction ID can now only be bound to a single question.
- If a chapter or interaction ID is already bound to another question, the system will prompt you to unbind the original question. Once confirmed, the system will automatically unbind the original question and complete the new binding.
- New question type: Multiple-Choice Questions
- You can now create multiple-choice questions in FactVerse, with support for multiple option selections.
- DataMesh Studio now allows for chapter binding and content configuration of multiple-choice questions.
- Enhanced hands-on question scoring
- New unordered operation mode: Hands-on questions with multiple steps can now be set to “unordered,” allowing students to complete steps in any order. The system will score each step progressively, regardless of the sequence.
- Step-by-step scoring: Each interaction operation can now have its own “success” and “failure” scores. The system will score each step individually and automatically calculate the total score.
- Optimized time-based scoring: Multiple time intervals can now be configured, each with its own score percentage. The final score is calculated as follows:
Final Score = Total Success Scores × Time-Based Percentage + Total Failure Scores.
For full details on scoring, refer to the section: Hands-on question scoring mechanism.
