Decision Center Closed Loop
Use this guide when SemiOps signals need to become reviewed actions. The decision center connects recent alerts, history, recommendation drafts, execution planning, escalation, and feedback.
Decision Flow
Prerequisites
| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|
| Review owner | Recommendations need responsible approval. |
| Decision scope | The record should state whether it affects cleanroom, SMT, utility, or maintenance work. |
| Execution path | Approved actions need a work, quality, or escalation route. |
| Input | Use |
|---|
| Recent alerts | Starting point for review and prioritization. |
| Decision history | Past alerts, actions, and outcomes for comparison. |
| Recommendation draft | Suggested action, evidence, priority, and assumptions. |
| What-if or capacity result | Scenario comparison and operating impact. |
| Feedback | Result, closure evidence, owner note, and follow-up. |
Procedure
- Open the decision center and select the operating period.
- Review recent alerts and decision history.
- Prepare a recommendation draft with evidence references.
- Review priority, what-if comparison, or capacity planning where relevant.
- Assign an owner and approve, reject, or defer the action.
- Execute or escalate through the responsible workflow.
- Record feedback and update the decision history.
Expected Output
The output is a reviewed decision record with evidence, owner, action status, escalation path, and feedback.
Validation Checklist
- Decision scope and owner are visible.
- Source evidence is linked.
- What-if assumptions are recorded.
- Execution or escalation route is approved.
- Feedback is captured after action.
Failure Handling
| Symptom | Response |
|---|
| Recommendation lacks evidence | Keep it as a draft and assign evidence collection. |
| What-if result is unclear | Record assumptions and ask the process or facility owner to review. |
| Execution path is blocked | Escalate with blocker reason and required owner. |
| Feedback is missing | Leave the loop open until outcome is captured. |
