SLA and Energy Evidence

Use this guide when a data center team needs to prepare evidence for operations review, customer reporting, or management handover. The page keeps claims tied to asset records, work status, meter coverage, and assumptions.

Evidence Flow

Prerequisites

Requirement	Why it matters
Review period	SLA and energy evidence must use a clear time window.
Asset scope	Evidence should state whether it covers site, hall, room, or equipment level.
Meter mapping	Energy values need meter scope, unit, and aggregation assumptions.
Operations owner	Someone must approve the evidence before it is shared.

Inputs

SLA records	Breach list, queue aging, owner, priority, and action history.
Work-order records	Status, closure notes, feedback, attachments, and timestamps.
Meter readings	Utility type, unit, period, source freshness, and scope.
PUE or WUE indicators	Formula inputs, mapped meters, load definition, and limitations.
Snapshot export	Dashboard state, KPI deltas, trends, and CSV output when needed.

Procedure

1. Select the review period and operating boundary.
2. Export or review operations dashboard snapshots.
3. Check SLA breach and queue-aging records against work status.
4. Review energy and meter readings with units and scope.
5. Record assumptions behind PUE or WUE indicators where they are mapped.
6. Attach diagnosis, work-order, and feedback evidence for major events.
7. Store the reviewed evidence package with owner and date.

Expected Output

The output is a reviewed evidence package with SLA exposure, operating actions, energy readings, assumptions, gaps, and owner sign-off.

Validation Checklist

• Period, site scope, and asset scope are explicit.
• SLA items link to work records or assigned actions.
• Meter scope and units are visible.
• PUE or WUE indicators show input assumptions.
• Evidence package includes owner review and export date.

Failure Handling

Meter coverage is incomplete	Mark the indicator as limited and list missing meters.
Energy result looks abnormal	Check source freshness, unit conversion, and operating schedule.
